Fifth Chukker Polo & Country Club was born out of the shared vision and passion of a group of ardent polo players. Originally the Club was intended as a facility where friends could stable, raise and train polo ponies and partake in social matches and practices. However, due to an unpresidented demand for a world class polo destination in Nigeria, the Club has since grown in size, quality of facilities and in the number of international events hosted.
Today, Fifth Chukker Polo & Country Club continues to be directed by a winning team passionate about polo. The board of trustees are:

The Polo Club itself presently has over one hundred and fifty staff, consisting of management, administration, trainers and specialists in veterinary science.
Fifth Chukker Polo & Country Club events are supported and attended by a number of esteemed individuals, such as the Emir of Katsina, the Emir of Kano, the Vice President of Nigeria, State Governors and also a growing number of heads of foreign consulates located in Nigeria. |
